Who we are
FanDi is a software and AI engineering studio based in the United Arab Emirates, serving clients across the GCC. FanDi is responsible for the personal information described here. To contact us about privacy, email [email protected], use the website agent and choose to talk to the team, or message us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Conversations with the website agent: the messages you send and the replies, so the team can follow up.
- Contact details you choose to share: your name, phone number or email, and company, through the contact form or on WhatsApp.
- Estimates and saved quotes: the options you selected and the estimated total you were shown, kept as a record of what we promised.
- Visit statistics: an anonymous random ID stored in your browser, the pages you view and for how long, the website that referred you, your approximate country (provided by our network provider) and your device and browser type. We do not store your IP address for statistics.
- Security data: your IP address is used briefly in memory to prevent abuse, for example to limit how many messages can be sent per minute.
- Files uploaded to the Document AI demo are processed in memory to show the result and are never stored.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and prepare a brief, estimate or proposal.
- To follow up with you when you ask us to.
- To keep an accurate record of the estimates and quotes you received.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
- One cookie remembers your language choice.
- Your browser's local storage keeps an anonymous visitor ID and a session ID for visit statistics, and session storage keeps the ID of your current conversation.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings; the website keeps working.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting of the website and its database (servers in the European Union).
- Cloudflare: content delivery, security and encrypted backups (Western Europe).
- AI model providers: your messages to the agent are processed to generate replies.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to contact us there; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
International transfers
Our servers and backups are located in the European Union. Some providers may process data in other countries. We choose providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Conversations, contact details and visit statistics: up to 12 months.
- Saved estimates and quotes: up to 5 years, as a record in case of questions or disputes.
- Backups: up to 30 days.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections. Access to the database is restricted to the team, backups are encrypted, and stored credentials are encrypted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Contact the team through the website agent or on WhatsApp, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Applicable laws
We handle personal information in line with the data-protection laws of the countries we serve, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
